這個星期,這首歌一直迴盪在我的腦中。倒不是說非要到什麼地方去宣教,乃是思考生命的呼召,我現在做什麼/怎樣做才是真正有意義的?
I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin,
My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear My light to them?
Whom shall I send?
Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them,
My hand will save
Finest bread I will provide,
Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give My life to them,
Whom shall I send?
Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
This is an excellent song with God and human dialogues. When we have established a close relationship with Him, it is so crucial for us to maintain dialogues to know how He wants us to glorify Him. Often times, many gospel songs focus on the needs of human and leave out the "listening" parts on what He needs us to do.
