- use enery-efficient home apliances
- use LED light bulbs
6. Turn Dow Your Appliances
- Set water heater to 120F, wrap in insulating blanket if the heater is more than 5 years old
- buy low-flow showerheads to save water
- wash clothes in warm or cold water (hot water takes ore energy)
- in the sunny days, let clothes air-dry after washing them
- use energy settings in dishwasher, let dishes air-dry
7. Use Low-flow Faucet Aerator and Don't Leave the Water Running
- turn off water when brushing teeth or soaping the dog
- turn off water when washing the car except when rinsing
