I found this very funny. It reflects a real life situation for many Christians -- their goals and values, their aspiration and actions -- I had them all, but decided to ponder more and found the humorous truth in it.
What do you think? Still think you can preach a message of agenda without knowing/ignoring your audience's true needs? We might be doing more harm than good to Jesus' cause of Kingdom.
What is needed, is to pay attention to people's sense of social justice, personally or collectively. Be a church of relevance rather than serving your own need of "preaching", perhaps for a future reward or something.
Micah 6:8: He has made clear to you, O man, what is good; and what is desired from you by the Lord; only doing what is right, and loving mercy, and walking without pride before your God. 世人哪,耶和華已指示你何為善。他向你所要的是甚麼呢?只要你行公義,好憐憫,存謙卑的心與你的上帝同行。
