聖誕詩歌：O Holy Night

不知道為甚麼，這首著名的聖誕詩歌我第一次聽見時就覺得非常熟悉，感覺幾乎會唱似的。是不是我母親在懷我的時候聽過這首詩呢？後來有一次我問母親知道不知道這首詩歌，她居然不知道。或許她聽過而忘記了？我至今還有些不相信，她怎會不知道這首歌！今天把歌詞找出來，發覺裡面沒有代罰神學，很高興！

It is the night of our dear Savior's birth 這是我們親愛救主降生之夜

別忘了這是1847年奴隸時代的法國聖誕詩。英文版寫於1855年，並在美國（特別是北方州）成為流行。其中提到基督必打破奴隸們的鎖鏈！由於譜曲是歌劇唱法，唱法有點難度，教會很少在敬拜中合唱它，但每一場聖誕音樂會必定演唱這首聖詩。
